About Us
Tania and I added Charmed Plum Cottage onto our house 10 years ago with the intention of sharing our beautiful city and surrounds with local visitors and from abroad. We have never looked back. We have welcomed many splendid guest with whom we've often formed lasting friendships. We pride ourselves on providing a homely feel, and are always happy to provide insights on Cape Town from our own experience. We will always go out of our way to assist in meeting your needs and make your stay comfortable and memorable.
We have also accommodate guests for longer stays, who are often relocating to Cape Town and are in the process of finding employment and permanent housing. For these stays we frequently arrange a more affordable monthly fee (subject to holiday seasons and other higher short term booking periods.)
Facilities:
Parking: We provide an under-cover single car parking bay in our garden. This is behind a remote-controlled automatic security gate. The distance from the parking to the cottage entrance is approximately 15 meters.
Cleaning: After arrival the cottage is cleaned once weekly for longer stays.
Washing: We offer washing and ironing services at an additional cost of 50 Rand and 70 Rand respectively.
WIFI: Free WIFI is available.

We have hosted guests from all over South Africa and from around the world.
Notably we are proud to have had as our guests internationally renowned singer-songwriters and virtuoso guitarists: Canadian, Joel Farfard and Italian, Andrea Valeri.
